NetherRealm Studios Welcomes Omni-Man from the Invincible tv series to Mortal Kombat. Omni-Man will be available in November 2023 and is available on the premium edition or Kombat Pack.
It’s just a matter of time for the Viltrumite, Omni-Man to make his appearance in Mortal Kombat, luckily, we didn’t have to wait that long. Invincible (TV series) aired on March 25, 2021 on Amazon Prime. The show gained notoriety for its violent approach on the superhero genre, and who could forget that trending video of Omni-Man and Invincible in the train scene.
Omni-Man is perfect for the Mortal Kombat family and his finishers and moves replicating his tv series trademarks. From Crushing his opponents’ heads to that beautiful train scene which you’ll get to see in the trailer. Releasing in November of 2023, Invincible season 2 is also premiering on November 3 which makes the timing perfect.
Jean Claude Van Damme and Nitara were previously announced and as Omni-Man will be joining Mortal Kombat, fans will be waiting for Homelander and Peacemaker to make their appearance.
