The long wait is over! well, it’s almost over. Netflix recently dropped the official teaser for Avatar: The Last Airbender. The live action series is set to air on Netflix on February 22, 2024.
The animated series which aired on Nickelodeon in February 2005 was loved by many fans both young and young adults. becoming a cult classic long after the last episode of the 3rd season. Fans just wanted more and with the animated series following up with Avatar Korra, it was a long shot seeing Aang and the gang coming back on television. Fast forward 2010 M. Night Shyamalan directed the live action movie which received less than satisfactory reviews by critics and fans.
With Netflix releasing the first official trailer, all we can say it looks amazing and promising. The trailer showed amazing visuals and casting and of course Momo and Appa. The Trailer also showed scenes which looked like the war between the air nomads and the fire nation, which was never shown in the animated series.
Netflix’s Avatar cast has been set.
