Devil May Cry 5 (Video game) was released in 2019, so it’s about time we get another video game or an anime of the beloved series. Netflix recently released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Devil May Cry anime and though it is unclear if the anime will take place from the first video game or from the after math of the latest entry, the trailer shows a young Dante dodging slashes from an unseen foe. This could very well mean it’s from the story’s early years.
Studio Mir will be producing the series and will be led by Adi Shankar, known also for Netflix’s Castlevania series. Reuben Langdon, Dante’s long time English voice actor revealed that he was not asked to reprise his role. As a Devil May Cry fan, we can still hope to see some of the original voice actors from the game into the anime as the upcoming cast has not been revealed yet.
DROP 01 also announced other upcoming series on Netflix. Tomb Raider and Scott Pilgrim to name a few.
